Ingredients
1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips
1 bag White Chocolate Chips
1 tsp Peppermint extract
Candy Canes
8 x 8 pan
Parchment paper
Directions
- Start by lining 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper.
- Melt milk chocolate in a saucepan on low heat or in the microwave using 30 second intervals until chocolate is fully melted. Stir in ½ teaspoon of peppermint exact and mix together.
- Pour chocolate into the pan and use a spatula to create an even layer across the bottom of the pan. Place in the fridge to set for 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, crush your candy canes. Place candy canes in a plastic bag and crush using a hard object you have.
- Once the milk chocolate has set, melt your white chocolate and stir in ½ of peppermint extract. Pour the white chocolate over the milk chocolate and use spatula to create an even layer.
- Sprinkle the crushed candy cane evenly over the white chocolate and lightly press down to make the candy cane stick.
- Place in the refrigerator to set for another 30-60 minutes.
- Once the chocolate is hardened, cut or break into pieces and serve.
