Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients 

1 baguette 

12 oz goat cheese 

1 bunch of fresh basil 

1 tbsp honey 

Jam of your choice 

1 tbsp chopped pecans 

Balsamic glaze (to taste) 

1 large, ripe mango 

Directions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut baguette into slices, evenly spread onto a sheet pan.
  3. Put bread into the oven until toasted (3-5 mins).
  4. Add a layer of goat cheese to each toasted baguette slice.
  5. Have your chosen toppings ready. These crostini’s as super customizable so you can create any flavor combination you would like. We decided to make sweet, savory, and citrus crostini.
  6. For the sweet, add a layer of your preferred jam on top of the goat cheese. Top with a sprinkle of pecans.
  7. For the savory, add a piece of fresh basil on top of the goat cheese and top with a balsamic glaze drizzle.
  8. For the citrus, add a piece of fresh mango and top with a drizzle of honey.  
  9. Add your assorted crostini to a grazing board and enjoy!
